NUŠA LAPAJNE: SPATIAL SYSTEMS The ceramic installation Spatial Systems is based on the setup of recycled discarded ceramic fragments from the ceramics industry. The artist processed them in the unique colour codes in the form of lines and planes to meaning-wise and formally recompose them in a new picture, drawing, structure of coordinates, which might symbolise or even define our space. On one side, an organised system with the growing new elements while on the other decaying, chaos in the piles of dilapidated, crumbling relicts of the past.
